Opi Eurso Euro Vs Dating A Royal

Oh Dating a Royal. A long time favorite that took me ages to get my hands on. It is amazing.

· September 23 B70, Dating A Royal – OPI #B70, $ B71, Done.

They are a textured sand effect polish but the pastel colours give them a sugar frosted effect, so pretty! Obviously they are a matte glitter so that makes them much more chip-resistant than a normal polish, it also means that you can get away with just one coat however I did do 2 coats in my swatches, just to be safe. A fter my recent project working with Guess for a denim themed smokey eye tutorial I was sent these OPI polishes, continuing on with the denim theme.

I have two coats on plus a top coat of Seche Vitte as I was heading out and needed it to dry quickly. Not really in this case. The colour is great, it looks pretty opaque even just one coat although I did add a second just to be safe. My problem with this colour is that it did require hefty amount so f polish remover and effort to get rid of the staining that it left on my nails and fingers but sometimes you do get this with this kind of colour. Now this one was really, really impressive.

I got the desired colour and gloss from just one coat, yup, one coat! I kept this one on for a few days because I loved it so much and I even put it on my toes. This one would be my absolute must-have if you feel tempted to try one out. So read on to see what made it onto my faves list and check out my colour swatches below. It fast became one of my firm favourites!

Retired Shades

May 7. Posted by prettyseaeagle. Formula was thin but pigmented and easy to apply. This is a vampy dark eggplant with very elegant shimmers. Even in artificial lighting it looks like a very dark plum instead of black like most vampy colors. Sigh, I love this so much and I can see why it is so highly raved.

Probably not but will you want all three if you are blue lover like me? Duh! Posted in SwatchesTagged Essie Mesmerize, OPI Dating A Royal.

I wanted to swatch one of my favourite O.P.I’s nail polish, Dating a Royal. It’s a royal blue as it’s name suggests, but depending on the light it.

While these colours are generally hippie-ish, I feel that they should be more washed out. I would have loved for the colour of faded jeans or sun-dried carnations. These colours are just really loud and obvious. Today, I will feature Woodstock, which is a hot neon pink that dries semi matte. The formula was good. It applied smoothly and dried quickly. I think OPI Black Shatter needs no introduction but for the uninitiated, this is a black polish that randomly separates and cracks when you apply it on your nail.

You can literally see this happen the moment you apply it. A top coat is needed because the black shatter polish dries matte. Since the celebration takes place over 15 days, while the festivity starts a month before, I had plenty of time for Chinese-themed manicures.
